The mainstream view of women in the Bible is that they were disregarded and treated horribly. And yet as we read our Bibles we see many instances of women who made a difference for themselves and others both in the old an new testaments. Strong women that were valued and loved by God.Now Rahab had heard about the God of the Jewish people and she saw what happened when you fought them. She believed that their God was the real God and chose to hide the spies, she even made a deal with them to save her and her entire family.
Rahab was smart everyone had the fear of them, but I wonder if she was the only one who sought to make peace with them and to accept their God as her own, apparently so.
